Our property was unusual- a lovely house and garden on a main road in a low value area. We had a building plot which Cauldwells sold separately. We switched to Cauldwells after another agent failed to get a viewing for us in two months. The land sold immediately, but the house took 8 months and we were advised to drop the price twice during this time which we reluctantly did, but resulted in three offers. Carrie handled the land sale and Sarah the house but many other staff members were involved. Both sales were not straightforward, but we were regularly kept informed and taken seriously. The whole organisation deserves top praise for their policies and management practices. They return phone calls, reply to emails and share information. Their systems join up so we always knew what was happening. We had viewings almost every week and feedback

For the land, we paid a minimum fee which was relatively high. The house sale fee was fair. The staff earned every bit.
