We actually started thinking about a move mid 2017 and had our property valued by three local estate agents. We decided on Manning Stainton as we felt the most comfortable with Matthew and the advice he gave us. We then decided to delay our move until 2018, during this time Matthew contacted us periodically to see if we had found anywhere and Laura/Pippa sent regular emails on properties that were on Manning's books that might be of interest to us.
However, due to ongoing health issues in 2018, it was the beginning of 2019 before we started actively looking to move again and, to put us in a good position to purchase another property, we decided to put ours on the market. Following a meeting with Matthew on Saturday 9th February, we agreed the sales details etc; and the property was to be marketed from Monday 11th February. Events moved very quickly and by the evening of Wednesday 13th February our property was "Sold Subject to Contract". Absolutely brilliant service.
We are now in a very good position to move thanks to Matthew and his staff at Manning Stainton's, Guiseley, Thankyou very much.
Comment on agent fees
They seemed to be in line with the other agents in our area.
