From the start Foxtons were confident upbeat and gave the impression they would sell. Having dealt with other agents they were a breath of fresh air. Constantly on top of everything, returning calls promptly and not giving a £1 away at negotiation stage if they could possibly help it. They say they will justify their higher fee by getting you a higher price than the competitors and I totally believe they did that with our property. Worth the money.

As an agent - having worked at Foxtons in the past. It sounds like you got a bad landlord, not an agent. Landlords holding off on signing agreements to find better offers or a sales tenant is unfortunately fairly prevalent! The reason Foxtons takes your monies due and gets a signed agreement is that this is then binding and there is no going back - this is exactly because of what has happened to you, so your complaint is actually fairly contradictory.
