I have had the misfortune to rent 9 Woodlands Court in St Ives from. Thomas Morris Letting agents.
What a shocking experience it has turned out to be, all is excellent in the sales team in the office in crown street but once they have your money the horrendous customer service begins.
On the day I moved in I found the flat had historic problems with mould that had been hidden from me. When I challenged the maintenance office headed up by Lisa Bargh I recieved a rude and unhelpful reply, this should off set alarms bells off but I had already signed the agreement so was threatened that there was no way to cancel. The tenants above flat 9 (I think 8) are noisy and dirty the gentleman defecated in the bush outside the front door.
The fun has really started when I gave my n notice and vacated the property on 19/12/18. It was spotless in my mother and I opinion and we took photos of everything. I then received a phone call and to my absolute shock £200 was getting deducted from my deposit for a very minimal amount of crumbs or dust in the drawers and the carpets not professionally cleaned (when I moved in there was a massive burn on the carpets and stains throughout) this phone call from Lisa continued into an argument and Lisa put the phone down on me as per her normal rude attitude that I received from her throughout the entire tenancy.
As I type this the total costs have now risen to £305 for what I would call made up things. Please be aware that both Thomas Morris and the Landlord of this property are unreasonable people and I strongly advise you to stay away.
I am still not in receipt of any deposit and I moved out almost a month ago.

As I've mentioned before, we genuinely appreciate feedback even when it is less than complimentary as in this instance.
Having spoken with the team directly I understand that, in accordance with instructions from the landlord, the matter has been referred to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme for adjudication.
I am sure you appreciate that we always act in accordance with instructions from the landlord.
