I was reviewing my new estate agency and I came across some of the reviews about our old agency Moving On. From my own personal experience I found them to be very helpful, professional and totally impartial in terms of any bias if there were any disputes between us and our landlord which to be honest were very rare in the course of three years and just run of the mill stuff like renewing of contracts, break clauses etc. There were nice touches from them such as lending us their keys if we had lost ours, they let us store some of our possessions in their office prior to moving in as there was a few days gap between moving out of our old property and into our new one and we were all a bit stuck as our families are based out of London. All in all a pleasure to deal with, previous comments from other reviews seem so different from our experience and also some of their other tenants we got to know as they manage a few properties in our small block, no one had a bad word to say about them. We were all very reassured to know that they are signed up to the various official bodies like the property ombudsman, tenancy deposit scheme etc, all independent bodies which we could turn to if there was a dispute so for the sake of fairness I thought I'd take the time to share our experience as people are quick to highlight the negative but if your experience was positive how many of us honestly would take the time to post a positive review. Anyway that's my good deed done for the day.... Happy renting everyone!!!

Terrible agency, run away! I did everything to leave my flatshare according to the contract and having asked them what to do. As it happened fast and before their holidays, they pressured me with invented reasons to justify to wait the end of their holidays ...

Hi Charlotte, I had to take my landlord to court to get my deposit back, it took me over a year and a half to finally get it back. This agency does no vetting, and doesn't care when the landlords take money from tenants. i'm happy to contact you if you want further info. ...

No deposit protection scheme. I've only just resolved a year long legal dispute with the landlord represented by this agency. They were less than helpful during my tenancy, the property was badly in need of repairs, the water pressure was minimal with the shower being ...

As a representative from Moving On it's dissapointing to read negative anoynomous reviews where accusers can leave unverifiable comments with no potential for us to take legal action if false or misleading in nature, has this website been provided with any legal evidence that these events occurred??? For all we know these comments could be left by rival agencies or tenants who have been penalised deposit for causing damage etc and who would like to seek some form of revenge by smearing our good ...
