This was never going to be an easy sale as it was the family home, now empty following Daddy's need for nursing care. However, I'd been recommended WV by Chesterfield solicitors, and I was grateful for the understanding and empathy shown by Dan on valuation. We had a buyer within 24 hours, a sale agreed 24 hours later, all was progressing well, and then my darling Dad passed away. Everything had to be put on hold until Probate was granted. Krystyne liaised with the buyers so they understood the situation and a few weeks passed, and we were back in business. And then came the bombshell. A land issue pertaining to the garden which threatened to derail the whole sale. A week later, a Buyer's survey that wasn't what it purported to be, and at this point I was ready to throw the towel in. The kindness of Kyrstyne and Dan, their problem solving abilities, and their desire to help me at a very difficult time cannot be over-estimated. I am so grateful to them for talking me down and round when the going got tough and I thought we were back to square one. Their advice on what to accept offer-wise, and how to counter the rogue survey was invaluable. And their kindness when I lost my Dad meant the world to me. So often, estate agents get a bad press. It's always been my experience that if you're up front and keep the lines of communication open, they are a valuable conduit between buyer, seller, solicitor and just about everyone else. They get the job done when everyone else seems to be dragging their heels. They don't give in easily, and find solutions to problems. They work for you, and if you let them, they'll do a jolly good job. Kyrstyne and Dan did all that, and more, for me, and are a credit to Wilkins Vardy and their profession.

Anette very honest in her valuation and as I was have worked alongside with W/Vardy for many years I was more than confident that at the correct valuation we would secure a sale quickly,
Mark who oversee the transaction once we did secure a buyer was very effiecient with the progress and between us overcome problem that could have lost us our sale.
