We are moving back to the UK from Canada and needed a rental property to get our feet on the ground and found one through Cavendish. We applied, were accepted and paid all the fees AND 6 month's rent in advance. Paid for flights, car hire and hotel to sign for the property on the specified day taking a week out of my life only to be sent an email days before departure that they had removed the property because of a regulation issue with the oil tank THAT THEY KNEW ABOUT 3 MONTHS PREVIOUSLY. Obviously the property should never have been listed but when we complained to the MD, he refused to accept that our loss was their fault. They use the ARLA brand on their website to indicate professionalism but they are anything but in our experience.

sue balmforth needs to brush up on her customer service, I found her rude at no point was I even greeted,she ignored my questions or gave a one worded reply. Terrible awful money grabbers!
Ended my tenancy 2 months prior to moving gave the exact date I wished to move and Karen took no notice of the date I gave (26th jan 2016) clearly on the phone and told me she would give til the 31st to "clean and sort the property" without telling me there would be a £120 charge.
