Put bluntly this agency ruined what should have been an experience to remember. We saw the house and noticed a few faults and were assured this would be sorted before we moved in. When we did move in the house was in a worse state than when we saw it the first time: holes in walls, mould, damp, over flowing bins and frankly vile. They claimed it had been cleaned but cigarette buts in the toilets and crumbs in the oven suggested otherwise. They were no use at all, we lived in damp for months causing us all to suffer from illnesses. Rats were another issue, one they seemed to care very little about. A faulty boiler in a snowy February not a good mix for an asthmatic already living in a damp house. Often let themselves in without notice, arranged visits without notice and when leaving often left our bedroom doors unlocked (breaching the contract I may add). Oh and to top it off we haven't had our full deposit back seven months later.
Frankly, you'd be better off renting from anywhere else.

We are disappointed to read your comments and we apologise for your experience. We are aware of the circumstances of your situation but want to stress that the problem wasn't structural.
Our contractors did attend the property when the leak was reported but were denied entry by yourself until after the council had visited. Unfortunately this took a month, in which time the problem had worsened.

It's hard to give a personal and full response to this tenant as we are unable to identify them from the comments left. All we can do is apologise if the feel they didn't get the service they expected and use the feedback to improve our service in the future.

We are fully aware of this tenant's experience and we've spent a lot of time handling this case.
We're sorry that she feels she had such poor service from us but as far as we are concerned, all protcol was followed and the necessary steps were taken with regards to maintenance issues, the check-out process and deposit dispute.
