These guys are total con artists. I rented a flat for a year and was considering extending. The rent was already high for the postcode and then they tried to up it further, claiming it was the Landlord's decision. The Landlord lived in America and was on a hugely different time zone yet somehow managed to quickly inform them he had agreed to freeze the rent when I refused the increase.
But the worst part was the inventory check-out. They sent a different woman to the one that did the check-in, and she confessed that she only does inventory checks for them these days on an ad-hoc basis as âshe was taught by the bestâ....it was like watching the FBI investigate a murder scene. She examined everything, which would of been fine, had the check-in lady bothered to do the same. They hit me with a massive set of charges for damages that were 95% pre-existing. They even tried to charge for the one lot of damage that was captured at check-in - some stiletto indents to the wooden floor at the main entrance. When I queried this I was told that the Landlord would halve this charge. I offered to pay it in full if the check-out lady could give me a reasonable explanation as to how she thinks these marks are in addition to the pre-existing ones...and they promptly backed down & removed the charge completely!!
They tried their luck at every corner, trying to squeeze me for every penny. Scumbags

Having looked into the details on your file, I can see that we had booked a check in and inventory for your tenancy which would have detected the issues you report. Unfortunately, this was cancelled by the landlord the day before you were due to move in. The landlord informed us that she would carry out her own check in with you instead, but failed to turn up for this. We were therefore asked to attend, take meter readings and provide you with keys. Having the same experience with Frost of Slough now. The most appalling firm. They are not just badly organised and incompetent they are devious liars. Every review I have read says they give the excuse "we can't get hold of the landlord". I doubt they bother to contact them. I too had the misfortune of dealing with the infamous Pooja.
