YY have been managing our block since Avon Ground Rents, it's sister company has bought the freehold. There was never any competitive tender process, which should have been a warning sign. The quality of the service has been worse than horrible. Over 18 months, there have been 11 instances of theft from the "secure" underground car park, due to various CCTV and/or door malfunctions. No responsibility over the stolen property was ever taken. The video entry system was recently off for about a month. Upon confrontation, YY team member suggested me "to phone the vendor myself and arrange a visit". Nevermind the fact that I am paying 3.8K annual fee for a 2 bedroom flat. The bills keep increasing every 6 months with new miscellaneous items added and the quality of service is abysmally bad.
Comment on agent fees
I am paying 3.8K for a 2 bedroom flat (70 sq m). There is no gym or similar facilities in the building. That charge doesn't include items such as registering tenants (for which they attempt to charge £100 + VAT) or producing documents for lenders.
