It has been the worst experience with an agency ! The first time I rent a room with was not available so I went in an other room for few days ! Then I finally discovered the room that I was supposed to go in but I had to wait at least one hour because they didn't have the keys. Someone had to break the door to let me in. Everything was DISGUSTING. All wardrobes broken, mattress stained..... I couldn't leave in this room so I came back to the first room which was better. Few days later, my belongings were taking and stocked in a truck because the agent didn't do her work.
An other agent showed me an other room. I decided to move to this one which looked better than the other one. They didn't give me any checkout to sign before I came in.
When I left I had to wait more that 2 month to receive an email for my deposit and unused rent. They reduced me £440 for the painting, moisture, cleaning etc. They attached some pictures to prove it. But the damages were already there when I moved in. They try to steal money from my deposit ! They never reply to email !

I went to that address last week and now they operate as Flintons now. Super suspicious, so didn't close any deal with them. There's a BBC article about it, you should Google it. Maybe it can help you... ...

Oliver, unfortunately citiside has gone into liquidation, I suggest you contact the liquidator Edge Recovery (edgerecovery.com) about this. I also recommend you check with MyDeposit about this as they are the deposit protection company that CitiSide used. Your deposit should have been protected so it should be possible to get it back. ...
