I met Mr Ben Phillips when he came to value my house, not realising that he was Surveyor and also Manger of the Blackburn branch. He listens to prospective clients, and gave me invaluable advice that first meeting, when I didn't ask the questions that I should have, but he gave me all the information that I required in the email the following day with the valuation. He is a young true Gentleman, listening to my personal concerns and worries regarding my inability to handle and understand how to complete the paperwork etc, and was aware that I needed support, which he offered that day and I was told would be there for me throughout the sale of my house. My worries were due to the fact that my husband passed away last year, and he always dealt with these matters, and I was involved, but never alone and not making serious decisions that I would be having to make without someone at my side. Ben Phillips sensed my weakness and worries and Mortimers 'held my hand' every step of the way. He listens, is kind, helps, helps you to answer questions when unsure of what to do next, always has a smile to greet you and doesn't make you feel that you are keeping him from another client. A lovely man who you feel comfortable in his company, and true Gentleman. Petrina was allocated my case. She kept in contact with me, letting me know how things were progressing, and she too is a lovely lady. Warm, always a smile for you and ready to help, or has already thought ahead and is able to answer the question I was going to ask her to find out for me. She was running around in circles with the solicitors, but kept them on their toes, and it was due to Petrina's hard work that my sale went through when it did. Also Jack from my solicitors. Both understood that my sale was buying a house where the seller was going to live abroad, and that date was getting close very quickly. However, Petrina helped sort that worry out too. Kind, thoughtful, hardworking and now a friend Petrina.
Comment on agent fees
1’/, which is standard in Blackburn at the moment I think, but it’s the outstanding advice, help and support you receive that makes Mortimers the best Estate Agents for me. Also the fact that they had an offer the first day it was advertised on Rightmove.com. Fantastic help from wonderful people at the most effective and the best Estate Agents in Blackburn - MORTIMERS.
