I did not purchase a property through this agent. I tried to but got so fed up with the appalling level of service that I walked away. (1) They never provided a flier for the property I viewed and kept saying it was new on - even after 2 weeks (2) They failed to show up to the viewing appointment and I had to rearrange (3) They constantly failed to return calls - was this a test to see how "motivated" a buyer I was? (4) The agent I was dealing with left the branch and there was no handover i.e. no one telephoned me (5) After more that a week I found out that my offer was never presented to the vendor (6) They expressed doubt I would be able to get a mortgage and suggested their broker do some research - they then never followed up with me (7) They didn't have the courtsey to call and say they had another offer on the property even though they knew I had one pending (8) When I re-presented my offer, with a mortgage in principle, they did nothing to try and close the deal given that the offer mentioned in 7 was rejected (9) When they spoke to me on the phone about the property I was interested in they never introduced themselves or ask who I was i.e. they did nothing to build or maintain the relationship.
