I have used other branches of Martin & Co. both as a tenant and as landlord and have received excellent service. I have tried to use the Harborne branch twice and received poor service on both occasions. The first time my viewing appointment was cancelled at less than two hours notice after I had rearranged shifts at work. The offer of a reschedule came only after I had complained. The second time the phone was answered by a person who insisted on calling me âmateâ but was in fact very unhelpful. I would rather not use them at all but they seem to have something of a monopoly over rented property in Edgabaston.
Because of the poor service I never got as far as paying any fees.
No procedure set.

Please avoid this real estate agency. Once you have rented a property from them and signed the contract, they will not respond to any of your requests, especially when you are suffering from neighbour harassment and noise issues. I was a tenant. This is a really poor estate agents!! Be aware they will try to deduct ridiculous charge from your deposit and WILL NOT let you know before hand and try to blame you for things that you'd not done. Fees taken from damage deposit totally unjustified considering they were unable to manage the property for over 6 months due to a court repossession and tenant changing locks.
