Fox and Sons Brighton, Western Road Sales Office.
Absolutely awful service. They would only provide my offer to the vendor if I would take out one of their rubbish mortgages and threatened so many times. The vendor has no idea of their practices.
Get in touch with the vendor and tell them what an awful, threatening service they offer, it is the only way.
Do not be intimiated by them. Tell them you are recoridng every conversdation and get communication in writing.
I had to walk away from a nice property becuase of the way I was treated.
A really poor office, full of awful people. Walk away both sellers and purchasers.

I agree with every comment. This office is far worse than any other I have used which is over 5 across London which is renowned for being a aggressive sales area. The attitude is rude, unhelpful and quite frankly we would love to pull out just to spite the agents. Most agents are not like Fox and Sons they have a vested interest in customer service, we would never buy or sell a property through them. They will eventually loose business to the decent agents. Ditto, same happened to us, we saw a property that we loved, put in an offer, which Fox and Sons would not put forward to the vendor, they did not believe that we had the necessary funds! I pleaded and gave them all the info they required still they would not put our offer forward, stupidly I let them win, we walked away looked at other property and offered elsewhere, to be honest I have never forgot that house, really wanted it, they were bullies, I know now they just wanted us to have their mortagage! From reading these reviews, there seems to be a difference in the views of those selling and buying. My expereince as a buyer was bad, so I'm not sure why you would want to disagree as a seller? Nov 09, 2009
I disagree with these comments I have just sold a property through Fox and sons and they disclosed the practices they use and my sale went through brilliantly. The survey was very quick and my buyer had a mortgage offer within a week and the solicitors they recommended did a wonderful job. Nov 04, 2009
I'm not an agent at all - just a poorly treated first time buyer.If you look at other complaints about Fox and Sons, note how they always blame another estate agent in an effort to undermine purchasers. Just make your own decision from reading these reviews.
