We've known a lot of letting agents in the past and some made us feel as if we were only there to generate income for them. The team at Carr & Hume weren't like this at all. They were friendly, helpful and made us feel genuinely cared about.
The first person we met was Gillian, who showed us around the flat in our own personal viewing, unlike some other letting agents in Manchester who trawl you around in a big group. Gillian was friendly, relaxed and knew the answers to all of our questions.
Then throughout our tenancy we spoke to Rachel and Gill who helped us with any maintenance issues. Rachel and Gill were very organised, warm, helpful and always got back to us quickly.
When the time came to renew our contract after the first year, we spoke to Sam. Sam was so helpful, making everything easy and we really appreciated the flexibility she offered us when we were buying our own flat but didn't know exactly when we'd need to move out of the rented one.
The maintenance contractors that Carr & Hume use are also really good. Danny came round on a few occasions and was equally friendly and well organised.
Thank you to all the team for the great service you've given us over the past 2 years! Hopefully we'll be back in future if we come to let out or sell our new place.
