Beals are the managing agent for the flat that I am renting. Dealings with getting the property went very smoothly and I was impressed, although their fees were sky high but there wasn't a lot I could do about that!

However, since moving back in May I have made several requests, one being for a bed base that was left at the property to be removed, a spare key and most importantly chasing an itinerary! As of yet, none of this has been done and no one has responded to a single email or chase up since, it is now nearing August. The member of staff I dealt with, who answered every email promptly at the beginning, just ignores every email I send now. Very disappointing, I love my flat a lot but if I could change one thing it would be the estate agent! It's extremely annoying that I cant speak with the landlord directly to ask him to switch!
What agent could do to change your mind?
All I expect from them is after taking the landlords money to manage a property - that they actually manage it and respond to emails. Number one on any agent/landlords list should be getting a signed itinerary.

We were offered an "online" fee of only £795 plus VAT which is a great alternative to Purple Bricks but decided this was not for us. The fee we paid was about the same as quoted by most other agents

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
