On first impressions Chamberlains Lettings have all of the right things in place to make it easier for you to manage a rented property. They have a website where you can log issues with a property and it filled me with some confidence on how they operate. In reality though this gets ignored and we were left with long-standing issues that were hard to live with (such as a faulty heating system which cooked our kids bedrooms every time you turned a tap on). This issue took almost a year to be addressed because the agent failed to inform the landlady after it was successfully logged (this happened with more than one issue). We knew this because the landlady came round on an inspection and had no idea about this heating issue that I logged almost a year prior to her visiting. It was embarrassing for my wife who had to sit there and listen to the landlady going nuts because basic things had not been relayed to her or carried out/addressed. The organised became disorganised unfortunately and I found it hard to do anything with this agent which would be regarded as efficient. A lady at Chamberlains called Michelle was a breath of fresh air because she was intelligent, polite and friendly. I think the problem lies though they she seemed to be the only person actually doing anything. Overworked staff leads to chaos based on my commercial management experience. Thumbs up for Michelle, thumbs down for Chamberlains, glad to be out of the property and somewhere else. My two pence.
