Used Pattinson's to manage two rental houses in Longbenton. They were the most useless, inept and dishonest Company that I have ever dealt with. The worst part was when I found out that the tenant of one house had moved out a month earlier - no-one bothered to let me know!! Plus, the house hadn't been re-marketed. When I took back the keys and looked over the property the back lawn was wrecked - Pattinson's had allowed the tenant to have a rabbit roaming free (despite the contract saying no pets without Landlord's permission) and that had eaten all the grass! Of course, no apologies from Paddy Coombe and his boss and Helen Shallcross. I took both houses to another management Company and they've been great.

If you read their website it states nothing about any criteria to get a no fee auction rate. It says clearly that you can set a reserve price. Be warned about their code of conduct

This company puts their interest first.They value well under market price, because they want to sell to get their profit.
If the property sells at their valued price you have to sell if after 28 days your property does not achieve a higher offer. It's win win for them. ...
