We bought our home through Charles Carr. All around good experience, especially Rebekah who has been a delight to deal with! We viewed our prospective home a few times and she was always more than happy to help.

On completion date when we went to get the keys, we were told they were not yet available even though we had confirmed with the agency a few days before. When we requested if they could call the sellers solicitors, another staff member (who we were not speaking to) spoke out of turn quite rudely and in a patronizing tone saying we need to wait for "legal completion" and that "the property was still owned by the seller". However, Rebekah stepped in and even called back within an hour to confirm completion.

All in all, some of the staff were very pleasant to deal with but others need to be given a refresher course in "customer service".

Would never ever use these people again made to feel unimportant as a renter never returned emails or phone calls I do actually own my own house also and would be appalled if my agent treated my tenant the way I've been treated....

Charles Carr are quite happy to rent you a property without a functioning oven or fire alarm but will dodge any calls to remedy any and all issues no matter how dangerous they may be. As of writing, it has been 11 months with these issues. ...
