We always appreciate the feedback particularly from a tenant that may feel a little disgruntled after being asked to leave one of our properties.
You were indeed asked to vacate the property after a number of incidents, but these have not been mentioned in your review which we feel is a little unfair and does not shed light on the full situation.
Please note, after reading this review I personally listened to the recorded phone call between Hayley and yourself and I can confirm that Hayley did not at any point say "we want you out" or that "you are being unprofessional" so there seems to have been a mix up here. She very politely explained that we would like to end your tenancy and for you to vacate the premises after a month's notice. We could have of course served official eviction notices should you have wished.
The reasons were as follows:
You called the police on one of your fellow housemates after you have a verbal argument. We believe this was a very erratic and extreme measure, and simply a waste of police time. We were however, of course, happy to let this go and for you to continue at the property as we talked to both you and your follow housemate and you agreed that we had resolved the issue for you.
After this incident, we found out that despite being told you explicitly were not allowed any pets and despite this being written on your signed tenancy agreement, we found out you were keeping a hamster in your room. This hamster had chewed a large hole in your carpet which now needs replacing as well as caused damages to some of your walls.
We are sorry you took offence to being asked to vacate the property and we do truly wish you the best of luck for the future as you are a lovely human being, however, we have to adhere to the rules that our landlords put in place over letting their properties. We also have to protect the interests of our other Zesty tenants that may not take well to police visits as a result of household disagreements or may be allergic to pets.
