Jade couldn't have been more instrumental in sorting out the problems I had with the flat. There were multiple issues which should have been resolved before I moved in, however it's taken 2 months for most of them to be addressed and I am continuing to have issues with the hot water.
However, Jade did not stop working to help me and has been incredibly polite and cheerful throughout. Always keeping me updated and doing everything possible to resolve things as quickly as possible.
Letting with Touchstone overall has been a tense process as I have dealt with a different company at each stage. Initially Express Lettings (not owned by Touchstone) showed me around the property. I submitted my application and my references were undertaken by a different company (fairly common but they were contacting me directly which threw another point of contact into the mix. It also took a very long time for these to clear.).
Then I had to deal with multiple contractors to fix the issues with the flat, from electric to hot water and the place being extremely dirty - it was a total nightmare and I ended up cleaning the place top to bottom myself. I'm lucky I have a job with flexible hours and a work from home policy as there's no way I could have let contractors in with such frequency at sporadic times without this.
Without Jade, I probably would have abandoned the process and found somewhere else to live.
