When we first came across Andrew Lee's to rent our property they were very good and extremely good through out our tenancy. Didnt really have any issues. And each time a visit was scheduled it was always on time and all feedback was taken on board. I have always complemented the staff and Andrew the whole time through my tenancy... I have recommended then highly. However, once my contract came to an end... they have become the worst agents as possible. I have done everything as requested. Professionally cleaned all the carpets the house and repainted any problems. As requested prior to vacating the property. We left he property on the 24th of July and to this day I still have not heard anything about retiring my deposit they are using ridiculous excuses to make money out of me!! Its a disgrace. When I moved in a clearly stated and sent picture of how filthy the property was and it was all signed and agreed I left the property cleaner then it was when we moved in!!! I agreed the cooker to be professionally cleaned and a charge of £50 as I was not able to turn it back to brand New!!! Oh well. However I have agreed to pay the amount.. other then that they have been looking at photos and videos for 3 weeks and still not heard anything back from them. They assured me that they will resolved today.. did not hear anything so called the off e at 4.50 spke to bridgett who spoke to Peta to confirm yet still NOTHING!!!!! I have been more then patient with their disgraceful service!!!! I was told that I have to wait til tomorrow baring in mind this now 3weeks down the line!!! I refused and asked I want to speak to to Andrew or Peta now and bridgett said leave it with her... AND THEN PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND NEVER CALLED BACK AND SET THE OFFICE TO VOICEMAIL!!! Basically they are a disgrace and will any thing to take our money off us.... well I will not accept this and I have been way too patient with them I am absolutely disgusted with them and I will reporting this to the ombudsmen.
It is a shame that it has come to this, and it's a shame that I have to resort to giving Andrew Lees such a bad report due to lack of care in his office, however, I can now say Andrew himself has called me early hours to resolve all issues and my deposit and been returned. I have recommended that he manages his staff and their work more closely as it is showing that they have tried to call me which is completely incorrect information, I feel that Andrew may not actually know what is going on in the office at times. I do highly recommend that if there are any issues don't waste your time and energy talking to random staff members request to talk to Andrew himself. He is understanding and very honest.
