We put our house on the market with Foundations in September 2017, it sold fairly quickly and our chain was formed. All the way through the process, we had to keep phoning to see what was happening, we weren't kept informed at all. Eventually after a long Xmas/New Year break, they finally let us know we would be exchanging contracts in January. One the day it was meant to happen Lalena phoned at 5 o'clock to say it hadn't happened and our buyer had pulled out!! When I asked why, she said she didn't know 'it was a mystery'!!! That mystery lost us the house we wanted to buy, and several thousand pounds in surveys, solicitors fees etc. To this day Foundations have never given us any reason why this happened.
After a couple of months we decided to try again, and very stupidly decided to use Foundations again, mistakenly thinking that them knowing what happened in January would encourage them to look after us a bit better !! How wrong were we!! In the whole 10 weeks we were with them, we had about 2 viewings, and no feedback at all. We constantly phoned Adam, but he never once returned our calls. We emailed, but again no reply.
We are now on with a decent Estate Agent, who sent a couple round to view our house 2 days ago, and they told us they had looked at a property with Foundations, and they (Foundations) had bad mouthed my husband and I and our house to them!!!
As soon as I heard this I rang Adam, I was told he was on the other line. I asked to be called back urgently, but as usual no return call until much later that day when I was at work!!
So, I would say Foundations are the worst estate agent I have ever dealt with and the lack of communication is appalling .
I have only marked the one star rating because I have to. They don't deserve that
