Found an affordable property through them; when we went to visit and subsequently decided to take the property everything seemed in order; they were responsive. However the agent handling our case would consistently call my partner's number asking to speak to me (he had my number too), and at odd hours at that.
When we moved it, the fridge was missing (though the property had specifically been advertised as all white goods included, and this had been confirmed by the agent).
We were told that the property was spotless, which we deemed only appropriate considering that the agency fee included the price of a professional clean prior to us moving in; but upon arrival we realised that the place was filthy.
There was no electricity or gas being supplied either, and we were given the wrong energy provider by the agent so we spent an entire day trying to get in touch with the wrong company.
When we finally did move in (once we had managed to clean the place and secure electricity and gas supply to the property), we realised that the boiler was broken and that therefore there was no hot water supply to the bathroom sink or shower. There was an independent hot water tank for the kitchen sink but it leaks three to four litres of water per day.
We have repeatedly raised our concerns about the abysmal service that we have received but have yet to be acknowledged; and if it weren't for the landlord's PA being a very competent individual, the property would be uninhabitable to this day.
