After deciding to put our home on the market, an off the cuff decision to walk in to Bourne Estate Agents in Farnham met with a positive and professional manner. Everyone in the office were always helpful and our house was presented in a very professional way. The market price was the most competitive against all the estate agents that we had to price the house and the team were very approachable and listened to our requirements and concerns on selling the house. By listening to us and giving their professional opinion we were able to sell the property on the first viewing for 97 % of the asking price. They remained informative and assisted us in every aspect of the selling process up to the day we moved.

By fate we also purchased our new home through Bourne in Alton and as we were selling via the Farnham branch, the branch conducted all the purchase enquiries on our behalf enabling a fast and seamless chain. They were always there for us and kept us appraised of all the issues of selling and buying.

I can not thank the team enough for their assistance and friendly manner. Their advice in relation to property, financial advisor and Solicitor has been second to none and I have no restraints in recommending them to anyone buying or selling.

OUT OF ALL OF THE ESTATE AGENTS WITHIN THE AREA (FARNHAM, ALTON, ALDERSHOT) THEY ARE BY FAR THE MOST PROFESSIONAL THAT I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF DEALING WITH.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Try to understand your customers' perspective. Don't patronise your clients, and perhaps an apology for your errors would be a start.

Exactly the same experience here. They had the property we bought on the market for well over a year, but when we started the conveyancing process it was totally unready for sale - missing building regs, FENSA certificates - you name it. Wasted huge amounts of our solicitors time (and our money) chasing and chasing to get things done, with total incompetence from the Bourne team *. Ugh!! And even at the end, when they knew they'd fouled up, not a whimper of an apology - they clearly didn't care ...
