I really should have searched for this reviews before dealing with these people. We're students looking for housing in London so we often expect some quirks and difficulties in the process but nothing had prepared us for the complete lack of professionalism and communication from this agency and their people. We dealt with Jessica, who while relatively helpful at first, became more and more unprofessional. First of all, I was told as an international student with no UK guarantor that instead of paying 6 months in advance (pretty standard) that I would have to pay a full year of rent OR have 18,700 pounds in my savings account that I could show (really realistic for a university student in London). Secondly, the documentation sent to us containing the holding deposit information and our offer was INCORRECT, which we noticed and immediately contacted them about but it seems no one in this damn agency can answer their phone or email. Honestly, I've gotten quicker responses from Amazon than I have from this agency. Once we got a hold of them, we were told that there was no problem and to just send the holding deposit over (then Jessica noticed there was a mistake). Then, not only did we not hear back from them at all in about 3-4 days, including if they had received our deposit, they failed to actually take the property off the market and secure it for us. Additionally, we were also told that there was a competing offer of 24 months and that they would "prioritize" that offer even though we had already agreed to nearly everything else. Throughout the entire process, we barely got any updates, and they didn't even respond to our calls and emails. When we emailed Jessica and her in-line manager (Anthony) they simply didn't care. They refuted every point we made (customer apparently isn't always right), and BLAMED us for apparently not having our offer in order (we were perfectly clear and had everything prepared very quickly). Whatever you do, PLEASE AVOID this agency, they are completely unprofessional, unhelpful, incredibly MISLEADING and will completely deny and ignore your requests, questions and concerns.
Comment on agent fees
We lost our 900 pound holding deposit. 100 pounds per person admin fee was reasonable but when you deal with these people, you'll want to take the hit.
