I haven't got a good word to say about Richard or the team. Richard started out as a pig farmer and seems not to have realised that people are not pigs. He is crafty and misleading caring about profits more than people. He is literally rolling in it (excuse the pun). He has no idea how hurt people are by his poor management and I hope one day he matures enough to realise.
We moved in to a property that wasn't clean, but when we left he was finding dirt above kitchen cupboards and in an oven that was way cleaner than when we moved in. They attempt to squeeze every penny out of the poorer people in Frome. Completely unethical. The place was falling apart. The team don't get back to you - we found ourselves leaving message after message with no reply. When our stuff got destroyed with a cupboard falling off the wall and nearly killing a child they showed no concern and told us we had overloaded it. It was a kitchen cupboard that is meant to hold jars... etc. (it was only half full) Half the wall came off with it - how is that our fault?!
We are extremely grateful to be out of a property managed by Lettings R Us and will share our experience with everyone we know. We also have friends who rent from them and they have said the same. I do not criticise any organisation lightly, and I believe I'm a very reasonable person, but want to warn anyone out there... do not use them just because they're cheaper. Go to a registered respectable agency (National Landlords Association) where they don't write their own reviews. You can tell Richard has written them - they mention his name in a few. I cannot honestly believe people would give him a good review (especially from the tenants side). You know you have found a dodgy agency when they don't have an office you can pop into to check it out & when they tell you that there are queues of people interested in a property so you have to give an instant a down payment or will lose your chance to get the property.
The bottom line is DON'T RISK IT... go with a respectable agency.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Dire. The agency should be shut down. A child almost died when a (high) cupboard fell off the wall (inches from his head) and they didn't even apologise. So relieved to be out of there. Completely uncaring for it's tenants. Care about money not people.Attached Filesnbsp;

Sorry Ninja we do not know who you are, we certainly do not take money from anyone. We put all of the deposits' into the deposit protection service and if there is a dispute then their adjudicator will sort this out. If you are inferring regarding to agency fees these are non refundable if you pull out or fail the referencing and credit check procedure. This is clearly informed before you hand any money over and is also reiterated on the application form which you sign. Feb 21, 2013

Richard has never been a pig farmer and does not write his own reviews on the website. This is impossible as the computer would recognise the computer number and not display it. We are not a dodgy agency and do have an office that you can pop into at any time during office opening times.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you were not happy with our services. The landlord did put a new roof on and the roofer did come back to rectify the issue. The landlord thought that this was fixed. I am not sure how the plug is coming away from the wall and this was not reported to the office. The property has an electrical installation condition report and this has happened during the tenancy.
