Have never sold at auction before although have bought plenty! After selling a rental property previously using the conventional estate agent route and it taking 14months from listing the property to completion I thought I would try the auction route for the next one. I Found Chris and his team to be very helpful and they kept me informed all the way through about the level of interest and feedback after viewings etc. The process has been extremely hassle free and I was very happy with the price obtained for the property. Would definitely sell via auction house again!

Hello Richard,
We are really disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with the result on auction day. Unfortunately valuing a property, especially when we are aiming to sell things in just 4 weeks is not an exact science and sometimes we get it wrong. In this instance it does seem as though the price recommended was too high.

Thank you for your feedback.
The sales particulars, photographs and videos we provided were accurate during the pre-auction marketing. If a tenant chooses to vacate a property between exchange and completion there is very little we can do. This is certainly one of the risks when buying a tenanted investment but thankfully it is very rare.
I do empathise with your situation and hope that you are able to turn things around in the coming months.
