There is no word in the world to explain how awful this company is: • 2 months with no Internet service • 2+ weeks with no washing machine and almost a month and half without a properly working sink •leeks in the room for weeks and not a ...
Before I proceed, I must explain that Cityrooms don't operate a standard letting process where we let and manage on behalf of a landlord and simply act as a liaison between landlord and tenant, reporting from the tenant and taking instructions from the landlord as necessary. Rather, Cityrooms enter into an agreement with the property owner which gives us the right to sublet individual rooms under separate tenancy agreements. The property owner is not a party to these separate tenancy agreements and so for all intents and purposes Cityrooms are 'the Landlord'.
In your case the property owner decided to use his property for his personal use and you were given a 60 days notice to vacate, nothing wrong with that.
If you leave without clearing your outstanding rent or bills, your deposit will then be deducted.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to express your feelings.
