We first met Nick when we wanted to show yet another member of the family around the house we were hoping to buy. He was really patient, accommodating and responsive to what must have sounded silly questions in retrospect. He was very reassuring when our main agent contact was out of office.
Finally, about a week before our move we asked Haart to enquire whether the vendor would cut the hip high lawns before we moved in. It was sometime later that we discovered the vendor had declined the request, but Nick had used his own equipment and time to strim the savannah (several times) and rake up the remains into what amounted to a tidy silage bale! Furthermore, it was not he who first told us what he had done for us. Grandchildren and pet cat were able to get out on the lawn immediately which matters to us. Thank you, your kind deed is much appreciated.

Unfortunately this sounds very similar to our situation as landlords through Haart. Our inventory clerk missed major damage from his report. The deposit claim went to the TDS and based everything on the inventory report. The damages not awarded amount to around £2k! We weren't given any TDS reference or opportunity to see what was submitted - almost like Haart were covering their tracks. Absolutely shameful. ...
