I wish to put on record my complete dissatisfaction with the unprofessional service and treatment by staff at the Shanklin branch of Pittis Estate Agents. I recently sold my house in Lake and moved out leaving it empty, relying on Pittis to arrange for access by my buyers, surveyors etc. Along with the house keys, I left clear instructions with them about security provisions and the various services meters and how they could be read. In my absence they were to liaise with my solicitor on any issues which might arise. In the event they were unable or unwilling to read some of the meters on the day of completion, for reasons which are still unclear, and they were offhand and unhelpful when responding to my solicitor's enquiries. It was only through the intervention of Pittis' senior facilitator that I was able to obtain energy and water readings to send to the relevant suppliers. I paid a great deal in fees to Pittis and I expected a much better service than this. Not recommended.

Their fees? Average for the industry I guess, but in my case they certainly didn't earn them.

Pittis' fees aren't fixed. They'll get as much as they can out of you according to whatever you're ready to agree on.
