I completely agree with all of the bad reviews, Fox & Sons are the worst estate agents out there!!! I am a first time buyer and dealt with the Crawley branch. Seeing a flat me and my partner loved we decided to see their mortgage advisor. After having several fees thrown our way and an awful mortgage we decided not to take one with them. Once we told them this they turned against us quite quickly. The agent delayed sending our offer to the seller time and time again using obvious lies and excuses so a buyer using their mortgage would get the property. We were asked to give our final and best offer which we did however after a week were told the other buyers had come in with a higher offer and told it would not go in our favour as the other buyer were close to exchange, which was very confusing as we were told not to go ahead with our mortgage. We were not given the option to increase our offer but decided to anyway which again lead to more time delays and in the end we did not get the flat. I could go into a lot more details but it would take all day. The main point is that Fox & Sons made it very difficult, upsetting and stressful for us as first time buyers and only looked out for themselves resorting to cheap tactics and lies. I didn't understand the reputation of estate agents until I dealt with Fox & Sons. Even if my perfect property were advertised with them I would be happy to pass it buy to avoid their money grabbing scams and selfish attitudes.
