We put an offer in on a house, our offer wasn't even put to the vendor for 24 hours. When I rang up to chase we were told only a branch partner can submit offers and he was out of the office. We were also pressured into going with their internal mortgage adviser. When we were finally contacted about our offer we found the agent rude, incompetent and condescending. We were made to feel embarrassed of our offer and left in the dark for days at a time when we were trying to look at other properties. After our experience, numerous work colleagues and even mortgage advisers told me of similar experiences. STAY WELL CLEAR.
