How they treat their customers/tenants is actually appalling. From start to finish I experienced awful service.
I signed up for a year's lease and within less than a week of living there, I discovered that the property was in fact, damp and mouldy. However, they denied this was the case despite me sending pictures and showing evidence of actual mould growing on my clothes and the walls. No compensation was offered and over £1000 worth of damages were caused to my belongings. Apparently the property was examined, and the findings were that the property was 'bone dry' I find that hard to believe but they are always right no matter how much proof you have and it's pointless arguing with them because you get nowhere. Also the amount of woodlouse/slaters which were found crawling all over the flat should have been another indication that the flat was definitely damp.
I was constantly ill from breathing in mouldy damp air.. bedding felt damp to sleep in. Clothes smelled disgusting. I tried to reason with them and asked if they would let me cut my tenancy short due to these reasons, they basically ignored me, gave me excuses how the property was 'bone dry' it was pointless trying to reason with them so I just had to put up with it for a whole year.
Then to top it off they had the audacity to take away a large chunk of my deposit for no good reason to be honest. It should really be them in my debt. It also took almost 2 months for them to re-pay the deposit despite chasing this up several times. Communication isn't their strongest point, but they are very good at avoiding you if they need to.

On another note, I notified them of a draining issue in the bathroom and they started the job to fix this, pulled up my flooring from my bathroom and then just left it like that for months – so the bathroom resembled , well for lack of a better description “crack den” . But of course, as soon as I gave them notice that I was ending my tenancy they made the flooring look acceptable again for the next tenant. Which was very nice of them. Obviously existing tenants don't matter. Once you are in the contact, prepared to get treated like a piece of rubbish.

So to sum up: avoid this disgusting company! Thanks

If it makes you feel any better, they treat the landlords the exact same. After 1 year of not being able to rent out the property and keep me updated at any point during this period, I was given over the keys three months after they decided they didn’t want to handle the apartment any more- place was trashed, leather sofa arm rest totally destroyed and food still all over the kitchen- no proper handover procedure of due diligence on their side, my 10 year old nephew would have handled the prop ...
