False advertised features in the property I rented, yes I admit there was an electric shower on the wall as advertised but was not informed it didn't work and would not be fixed. Had a battle for over 10 months to get one rotten cupboard fixed only for it replaced 6-8 weeks before the end of my 1 year tenancy. Had no hot water or heating for almost a month when the boiler failed (in winter). The property was an absolute sh*t tip after the previous tennant moved out and no effort was made to prepare it for new tenants who are contractually bound to leave it immaculate upon leaving. Had to pay what I would deem as far to much "administration fees" to start the tenancy and then even more "administration fees" when the tenancy ended. They have a 25(ish) page contract for tenants that screws them 6 ways from Sunday and basically gives the landlord immunity to take rent money and do nothing, whilst at the same time clearing Dorset properties of any responsibility other than taking your hard earned cash. Come the end of my contract I couldn't get away from them fast enough. If no stars was an option that is what they would have received.
Setting up the tenancy agreement was expensive and the credit checks cost were just insulting given anyone can do a credit check for free online. The "check out administration fees" just felt like a slap in the face after a year of sub standard service

We would reiterate that our tenant fees were always extremely competitive and reasonable given the time taken to reference tenants to the standards we set (and our landlords would expect) and to administer the start of a tenancy.
