I'd like to be writing a positive review, but sadly not. The house transaction went smoothly but I can't reward Lauren for this. Within the whole process I barely had any communication from her. I did receive a call suggesting I needed to move within a week of her call & if I didn't both the seller of my new house, and the buyer of my current house were pulling out. This was completely incorrect - thanks for the added stress!
Other poor communications included not advising what paperwork needed to be left at the house and was quite rude about it. For confirmation the paperwork had been handed in to the solicitor 8 weeks before.
I offered Lauren feedback on email but she never contacted me for it.
The cost for Scrivens was more than our solicitors (Tracey Bailiss), and in all honesty we relied on Tracey and the estate agents of the house we were buying to keep us up to date.
Having previously used Scrivens I was hoping to get a helpful service but on this occasion we were hugely let down. I wouldn't and haven't recommended them.
It was disappointing that they weren't interested in my feedback but I guess customer service for some at the branch isn't important.
