I have to only bought my property through this agency but also let it though them. Never again. On buying there was a mysterious last minute buyer which pushed up the price I had to pay and then on letting though them, they presented me with only one potential tenant (for a first class property) and then coerced me into accepting to this tenant's terms though my terms were never uploaded or included in the contract despite promises to the contrary. What's more they made promises to the tenant which I never agreed to keep which set up the tenancy in a very hostile way and caused me immense grief which the manager won't even acknowledge let alone acknowledge their complicity. The manager is also extremely patronising. So snotty. The Primrose Hill branch is managed horrendously. This is not the intimate local estate agency it portends to be - it's actually part of a huge conglomerate and they do business with a shocking disregard for real people. Ive sent a letter roof complaint and their modus operandi is to ignore it rather than address it. Do not go near them! Also interesting that they're not on Google Maps, probably precisely because of their review section.
Comment on agent fees
Their fees are high, I wouldn't have minded if the service wasn't terrible and if the manager had the decency to address a complaint rather than say nothing, and respond only over the phone with patrony. Clearly he's well versed in handling complaints.

Kudos to Kate!! She's just amazing. As an overseas landlord, it's nearly impossible to know what's going on in my flat. But Kate is super communicative, and goes above and beyond the call of duty. In addition, I had my flat listed with another agency ...
