We have rented through Haart for 3 years. The person with whom we viewed the property was pleasant, every other aspect of our experience with Haart has been overwhelmingly disapointing.
On one occasion, our toilet stopped functioning. We raised this to the property management team. After two weeks, we had heard nothing so arranged the repairs ourselves.
Our oven broke, this was raised, they bungled it for 2 weeks before we could get an appointment, and even so, only after we as tenants (and our landlord) put pressure on them to look into it.
Generally, their processes around managing maintainance requests is incredibly poor. Your ticket will be passed from person to person, that person might leave, your ticket wont get picked up; that person might go on holiday and leave the ticket in the charge of someone else, who will do nothing. You will be given a phone number for the wrong office, followed by another phone number which goes nowhere, followed by another which goes to a voicemail service which is never checked.
When it came time to renew our lease (£99 admin fee), the updated contract had the wrong dates, the wrong terms and our names spelled incorrectly. We had to point seperate issues out multiple times before they were all corrected.
The only thing Haart have *ever* done for us promptly (i.e. within less than 1 week) was to tell us our rent payment was late.
I would rather live in squalor than have to deal with Haart again.
Comment on agent fees
£99 for an incorrectly updated contract is not good value.
