After having a number of bad experiences with other agents, dealing with this agent has been a breath of fresh air. When a property we were looking to rent fell through, Goodwin Ellis found us another one right away and within a week of us saying we wanted to rent the property, we were picking up the keys. Since living in our house, the agents have been very friendly and helpful and they make sure that if anything happens in the house, it is dealt with quickly with the landlord. This was particularly a god send when we had a newborn baby and the boiler broke, as the quick work of the agents meant it was fixed within the week.

This is the 2nd review in 2 weeks from people who have nothing better to do than post 1 star reviews because they don't meet the criteria! My colleague never said that the property in question wouldn't take children (they will), but she did say that a joint income of £34,500 would be needed to pass the referencing via the agency we use. Like a lot of agencies, we outsource our referencing to a 3rd party (Rent4Sure). They make it quite clear that they require a joint income of £36,000 to rent a property at £1200pcm. We cannot offer a rent protection policy to our landlords if the tenant doesn't meet the criteria. We don't get paid unless someone moves into the properties, so I'm not sure why Ms May feels that we are discriminating against her?
