For £1800 a month, it's daylight robbery. The property was rented out to us on a two year agreement with the promise that this summer the agency would advertise for a tenant as our housemate is finishing uni. I have been made aware Dexter's doesn't provide a service like this so that's lying on both staff's behalf. Also the landlord lives in Scandinavia so there's little to no contact, everything goes through Paul, or should I say nothing. No working back gate lock, shed lock, back door lock and others, ceiling caving in and leaking, have been shocked on exposed mains. Cracks in doors, damp on ceiling, possessions stolen from the garden despite being secure. It's to a point where our own safety is at risk and there's been no effort nor reply. The only thing that's been repaired is our sink which the landlord expects us to pay for in full. No intention of reinvesting the ridiculously high rent back into the property. Stuff belonging to the previous tenants stuffed in cupboards and the shed and not only that, but bailiffs chasing after previous tenants are trying to get into the house! You cannot make this up, long story short do not bother if you're a student, these people will take everything they can and not give anything back, change my mind.
