Just had a call from solicitor. Turns out the 'cash buyers' have a property to sell. Found out from my solicitor, not manning Stainton, obviously no check for funds.
Other grievances:
Left special written instructions with labelled key to show the garage attached to my flat, and then was asked twice which garage was mine after many viewings already completed so obviously not showing off the garage.
Had to specifically request a for sale board outside and was told the management company would just take it down so they hadn't bothered. In fact a rival estate agent had a board up outside for one of the other flats, no problem. When I explained this she said 'oh OK well we'll get that sorted then'. Even though I've been specifically charged for a bill board they weren't going to bother, or even tell me about it.
The estate agent refused an offer on my behalf without informing me. Regardless of price should always let seller know of any offers.
As soon as the sale was agreed I was assigned to another member of staff who is very difficult to get hold of. Voice mail says 'on another line' will get back to you. Continuously leaving messages.
Just so annoyed with the whole process. They aren't even the cheapest option. Can't believe we accepted an offer based on the promise of a quick sale to a cash buyer when manning Stainton didn't get any proof that the funds existed. Unprofessional and decietful
