I knew Student Letting Agents were bad but never knew quite how bad until selecting Keylet as my agents for second year.
Keylet will not see you as a student, not even as a person but as a target. They love to rinse you of money purely because the believe they have more power than you. They will not respect you or treat you with dignity no matter how hard you try.
If you love empty promises, uncommunicative staff, being laughed at, not being taken at your word, unfinished properties, rats as a mandatory, being overcharged and undelivered then Keylet are for you.
We moved into a new build property promised for completion in September with promise of high finished, unrushed work and compensation if late. We got into the property sometime during October, to a poorly finished and problem filled house. The garden was never completed. The delay in construction allowed enough time for rats to move in. We were not provided with black bins or a fire safety blanket until we threatened reporting them to housing standards. Every problem was directed as our fault. When we found rats in the property the management did not believe us, refusing to answer our calls or respond to emails. After being promised a fair evaluation of the state of the house when moving out, we were charged for the state the house was in when we had moved in, backed up with photo evidence, apparently irrelevant. Promises were empty.

I would recommend threatening legal action or taking the case to a tenancy deposit scheme to get your money back, particularly if you have photographic evidence
