Waiting for deposit to be returned for over two months. Spoke with our landlord and they are happy for it to return but Leaders still haven't sent it to us. Nobody calls back from the office. Happy to take money at start but won't return. Told they area manager will call back but so far after one week still no call.

Hi Emma please get in touch with the DPS and start your deposit refund process with them. The DPS will facilitate refund once you ask them yourself. Do not rely on Leaders promise calls. I had same experience like you about deposit with the same Hartshill office. I got all deposit back after a long delay by a DPS form online.
Keep records of your dealings with Leaders regarding your deposit for possible dispute resolution purposes.

Would never ever use leaders again they couldn't manage their way out of a paper bag let alone manage a property. I'd give minus if I could for service. Left me without hot water and central heating so far for 6 days which has had a mental and physical impact on my wellbeing. I have today called environmental health and will be taking this further legally. Landlord is Not interested despite the fact he's getting ripped off. Leaders are a joke - avoid at all costs!! ...
