Selling a house in my experience (6 over the course of my life to date) can be a testing time, even when everything goes well! However it was obviously our turn to have a bad experience ... thank God we were with a proper agency and NOT one of the growing number of 'on-line' merchants. There is a very good reason for signing up to an agency such as Mansell McTaggart - if things start to go wrong you have the backing and support of people who not only care, but who have significant knowledge, expertise and ability to stick with it and get it back on track and, ultimately over the finishing line. We can't thank Guy Bateman and Jacob Rafferty and the team in Horsham enough; I truly think we were the seller from hell - not because we created any of the problems, but because of issues in the chain bellow which included the use of a well advertised 'on-line' agency who, once an offer has been accepted, appear to do little to nothing to help things along. They don't have local branches so they don't have local knowledge and I even question their expertise. They operate from a UK call centre and no doubt these are all the reasons why they are cheap. Thank you guys, Mansell McTaggart Horsham - you did a great job and we are hugely grateful.
