Simply the best estate agent in the area, professional, personable, perceptive and more in touch with exactly what the local housing market is doing than anyone else.

Country Properties sold our house last year for more than expected, at a time when the market started to take a slight downturn. We had spent a long time selecting the right estate agent. We had done our homework on all the local agencies and online options and narrowed it down to two. Country Properties came out on top due to the staff, market share and consistent performance.

All four of the Country Properties sales team have been fantastic. Joshua was the first member of the team we met and he took time to really look at our home of 14 years and listen to everything we had to say in terms of expectations and what made the house special. He took us through the valuation process in a very open and frank way with robust reasoning why the asking price, although slightly below what we had hoped, would maximise interest and get us the best result. He was not wrong.

Paul and Becky were first rate in handling a rush of initial interest. Their communication and rapid feedback of the developing list of interested parties was impressively slick and efficient. We felt completely in touch of exactly what was going on and in a position to make key decisions.

The manager James gave key advice and insight at the crunch point, finding ourselves in the fantastic position of two offers above asking from buyers in very different positions. When the house we were buying unfortunately fell through we had a big sit down chat that resulted in us going into short term rental over the winter period. This put us in an excellent buying position for this spring and we were able to buy a house we may otherwise have missed out on, also through Country Properties.

Country Properties is a very safe pair of hands to handle something as important as selling your house.
Comment on agent fees
Their fees are fair and going rate. We did negotiate but be wary of those who drop to much - you generally get what you pay for.
