After dealing with (and probably annoying!) every estate agent in the area to try and find the right company to market my property, I finally got to one of the smaller local companies, Symonds & Reading in Worthing. Stupidly I thought a smaller company would not be able to pull in enough potential buyers.... How wrong I was!!!!

Angela Brockwell came to value the property and not only LISTENED to the story behind why I was selling and why I had been dithering for so long (it took 10 years to finally pluck up the courage let go of the family home I grew up in) but she also listened to the type of buyer that I was looking for (I didn't want developers I wanted people that would love the property, respect its history and make it a proper family home).

Within days I had a few people round to see the property and I didn't think much about it because it was the worst time of year to sell (just before Christmas!). By the end of the week they were ALL fighting over it and upping each others offers!! In the end I fell in love with a couple that I just knew would be the right people to buy because Angela made sure that they ticked every one of my "sentimental boxes"!

We have now completed in record time and the new owners are just so excited it has taken away all of my anxieties and turned a very sad event into a very exciting one for me because I just know they are going to re-instate my old Victorian wreck back to its former glory and love living there...

Throughout, Angela updated me at every stage and even checked to make sure that I was still happy that I was making the right choice offering me the opportunity to back out if I got too overwhelmed (UNHEARD OF!!). It's been a real pleasure dealing with Angela and the rest of the team who made me feel that they actually cared about MY needs and especially that were sympathetic to my sadness at letting go of my family home (they are not just some agency that makes you feel like their only priority is commission and undervalues your property to get a quick sale!).

I just can't find a single negative thing to say... and I will CERTAINLY be using them again and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Thank you to Angela, Kirsty, Matt and Phil for changing my views on estate agents(!) and doing such a great job.
