This is the second time we've found a rental property through Country Properties. Both times we found them to be friendly, polite and efficient. Jasmine is absolutely lovely and the reason that we moved to Hitchin in the first place - we were beginning to feel quite disheartened about finding a place, but she was so positive that she'd find us a home that we decided that if she was a reflection of the town it would be a good place to live. Thank you Jasmine!
Comment on agent fees
Agent's fees are expensive everywhere, so I'm not sure that any comment on this is a comment on Country Properties in particular. I don't think tenants should be paying quite so much in agents fees. However, I understand the need to check a tenant's ability to pay the rent and accept that it would be unfair to ask an agent/landlord to pay this for tenants who fail a reference check.
