I recently sold my Vizion flat through Cauldwell and I have to say it has been a positive experience. Through the whole process, I had the impression that Cauldwell was a well-oiled and efficient machine which worked hard for me. Cauldwell gets paid only if the transaction goes through, whilst other online estate agents charge a fee regardless - I had a quote one such online agent and it was significantly cheaper but I am glad I did not go with them. There are so many hurdles to jump through when selling a property and I definitely needed someone whose interests were perfectly aligned with mine. Cauldwell charged reasonable fees and - whoever I talked to - was able to assist with my queries and get things done. My only suggestion for improvement is not to inflate too much the valuation price - Cauldwell valuation was way higher than all other quotes I received, which instead nicely clustered around a specific price. In fact, the final sale price was exactly what I had predicted. I appreciate this is a technique to hook the customer in, but please be mindful that with well-educated customers it can easily backfire (after the valuation, I was considering choosing another agent as I wondered if I was being treated like an idiot). In the end, I chose Cauldwell for the competitive fees and for being an established local agent, not for the valuation price. However, the service I received afterwards has been good, so no complaints and happy to give 5 stars. Unfortunately, I cannot say I will use you again (as I moved away from Milton Keynes) but if my MK friends ask for an agent to recommend, you will be top of the list!
