We were very impressed by the service from Doorsteps.
Getting the house on the market was very straightforward. We already had photos, a description and a floorplan, so it was great to discover that we did not have to pay for these extra services with Doorsteps (unlike some other online agencies who charge for them regardless of whether you need them or not). We even had a free for sale sign as part of a special winter offer that was promptly delivered and erected in the front garden (just like a high street agent would do).
The property was listed on all the major property portals within hours of me submitting the form and we had the first viewing arranged within an hour of the property going live online. Other viewings came thick and fast and most of the prospective purchasers were in proceedable positions. Within four days of the house going on the market we accepted an offer just below the asking price and the sale progressed well. Unfortunately our buyer had to withdraw from the purchase due to a change in their circumstances, but Doorsteps were very helpful and they promptly re-listed the property for sale. Within two days we had four new viewings and an offer that matched the previous one. Fantastic.
We had a lovely team at Doorsteps handling our sale with a big thank you to Meera, Cezary and Megan. The one-to-one level of service from them was as professional as any that you would receive from a high street agency - if not better!
